How Does a Bridging Loan Work?
A Bridging Loan gives you the cash you need for your next home purchase, even if you're still waiting to receive the sales proceeds from your old property.
Here is an example:

What Do I Need To Know Before Applying for a Bridging Loan?

How Much Can I Borrow for a Bridging Loan?
There are several factors that can affect how much money you can borrow from us. If you're applying for an unsecured loan with us, you will be able to borrow up to 6x your monthly salary. Depending on your assessment and requirements, we always give the best optimal amount of loans to our clients.
Note that the maximum loan tenure for bridging loans is up to 1 month only or until the property’s completion date.

How High Does the Bridging Loans Interest Rates Go?
All licensed moneylender that are offering bridging loans in Singapore is only permitted to impose the following charges and expenses on bridging loans or other types of loans:
- A fee not exceeding $60 for each month of late repayment;
- A fee not exceeding 10% of the principal of the loan when a loan is granted; and
The total charges imposed by licensed moneylenders on personal loans in Singapore, consisting of interest, late interest, processing fee or upfront administrative, and late fee also cannot exceed an amount equivalent to the principal of the loan.
How Long Does It Take To Get My Bridging Loan Approved?
Unlike banks that have a stringent loan application process and can take weeks to months to approve applications, Fortune Credit application is swift and efficient.

What Are the Next Steps After Receiving the Loan?
After receiving your loan, make sure that you:
- Receive the correct principal loan amount. Licensed moneylenders, like Fortune Credit, can only charge an upfront deduction of approval fee of up to 10% of the principal loan amount.
- Pay your loan installments on time to avoid incurring late interest and late fees.
- Receive a receipt after each repayment made towards your loan. Check for any discrepancies, such as the name, amount, and date.
- Receive a statement of account for your loan at least once every January and July.
Lastly, keep all repayment receipts and statements of accounts as evidence of payments.
Can I Apply for a Loan Over the Phone or Online?
